Notable tattoos/scars/birthmarks: The Cousland heraldic device is tattooed on her lower back. She also has a rather noticeable scar on her right shoulder that curves in a crescent shape.
General Clothing: As of right now, Elissa is stuck with basic studded leather armor to provide as protection. It's reddish brown in color, not doing much for flattering her body. Still, it provides basic protection, which is all she can really ask for.
When she is not in her leather armor, Elissa fancies dresses. Her favorite dress was red with gold embroidery, a gift from King Cailan. She also favored a light blue one that her mother had gotten her.
Weapons: A pair of twin daggers hang on either side of her, the sheaths connected to her belt. These daggers have the Cousland's heraldic device engraved on them, symbolizing that they've been passed down through the family for generations.
Pets: Cross - A Mabari War Hound that Elissa received for her 18th birthday. He is her closest friend, despite how stern she can be towards him. He is rather silly, but protective of his mistress. They are practically inseparable.
Likes: Adventure, testing herself, fresh air, The Maker, and animals.
Dislikes: Being cooped up, studying, being the youngest, inhumane acts, and bugs.
Strengths: Compassionate - Despite her tough attitude, Elissa has a soft spot for most things and people. She would rather take the heat than watch someone else do so.
Clever - She is not only fast on her feet, but mentally too, like a rogue should be. Her tongue is sharp, full of witty comebacks whenever need be.
Weaknesses: Stubborn - Being a bit of an idealist, Elissa is very stubborn about her beliefs and rarely backs down from anything if she's being challenged outright. This gets her in trouble often.
Emotional - Elissa, being raised rather spoiled in most people's eyes, is an emotional person when it comes to very intense situations. She can handle herself generally, but easily feels trapped when things are going wrong. This causes her to have little outbursts, and thus totally cancels out what being a Cousland should be.

Character History:
○ 5 Years Old: Elissa is hired a private tutor to be taught in the ways of the world. However, even this early on this is prove to be futile. While she was very smart and learned what was required, her lack of interest caused issues. She was more interested in the things Fergus was doing, battling and whatnot.
○ 10 Years Old: Despite Eleanor's protests, Bryce decides to make a deal with Elissa that if she continued and did well in her studies, then she would be allowed to begin training. Elissa, ecstatic, agreed and her father took her to the weaponry so she could choose a beginner weapon. For whatever reason, she sight of two daggers caught her eye. They were a little worn out, but still gleamed with a determination to be used. And so, they were.
○ 13 Years Old: Elissa begins to duel with others, but is still no where to Fergus's level due to their age difference and whatnot. She grows even more determined, but learns after a painful dueling accident (where she gained the scar on her shoulder) to not act reckless during battle.
She also goes to Denerim, to the Royal Palace, for the first time and meets King Maric and his son Cailan. The two hit it off as friends right away and have a good time, much to her parent's shock (as Elissa had always thought boys were 'icky' before).
○ 15 Years Old: During a training session one day, Elissa heard the alarm bells go off, stating there was an intruder. Curious and confused, she sneaked toward the gates to see the commotion. There a commoner stood, looking starved and barely alive. For a reason she was never told, his head was cleaved straight off by the Commander Knight of Highever. It was here that she learned compassion, and started to resent nobility and how it treated others at times.
During one of the Couslands' regular trips to Denerim for a visit with the King, Elissa finally meets Loghain Mac Tir and his daughter Anora. Though Cailan attempted to hang out with her, Anora would have none of it and acted like an utter bitch to Elissa. This sparked a very deep rivalry and hate for Teyrn Loghain's daughter from the spirited Cousland daughter.
○ 16 Years Old: Elissa travels with her mother to the Bannorn to meet some of the woman's old friends. It is here that the girl realizes Eleanor had been attempting to play matchmaker. Being stubborn, she does not relent and shows it with ease to all the young males attempting to woo her. It's during this time that she develops some good acting skills to save her butt from a raging mother.
○ 18 Years Old: Reaching proper adulthood, Elissa is given a Mabari War Hound as her present. She quickly trains him to fight with her, and learns the basics of dueling from her a trainer. She is also given the Cousland Twin Daggers as a present from her parents, passed down from previous rogues in her family. It is then that she is truly recognized as a Cousland fighter.
○ 19 Years Old: The Blight was suddenly a reality in Ferelden, and it wasn't long until young King Cailan called upon the Cousland family (amongst many other nobles) to bring their troops to Ostagar. Fergus took the majority of the men first, leading them to the south. Bryce was to leave the following day with Arl Howe, but none of them could have foreseen the betrayal about to befall them. One moment, Elissa was cuddling with Cross in her bed, and the next the hound had leaped up and started barking madly at her door. She opened it to reveal Arl Howe's men attacking Highever Castle. It was only by luck and pure chance that Duncan had been there recruiting for the Grey Wardens. Unfortunately, Elissa was the only one to be saved and only because she was promised to join the Wardens.
And so, unbeknownst to the young Cousland, she began her true journey.
