Character History:

“He knew not of his parents nor of his origins for it is held in the shadows of the abyss...”

Edmond Graves was a rogue, an assassin for as long as he could remember. Raised by a dying guild of shadows and taught how to survive in this harsh world, he was their legacy. Trained at an early age on how to be a rogue, and assassin, young Edmond would endure harsh environments and coupled with absolute discipline the early years of the child was filled with nothing but survival. And survive young Edmond did and he came out a warrior of the shadows.

At the tender age of sixteen, Edmond was a capable assassin has already taken mission after mission. It was at this age that young Edmond received his most grave yet important mission of all. A black envelope sealed with red wav with a rose seal was given to him by the master, a task entrusted to young Edmond no one else, a mission to assassinate the very guild that had raised and cared for him. With determined eyes, young Edmond carried his task fulfilling the will of the guild of shadows.

After all was said and done, young Edmond found himself with nothing to do and so the young shadow took to the road hoping that his feet would guide him to his unknown destination. And so began the adventures of Edmond Graves. In his travels and wandering, Edmond picked many a skills from fellow travellers ranging from cooking to blacksmithing and even a little bit of healing. That was not all that Edmond had learned however, he also discovered how to live his life fully and enjoy that time that he had.

“And so the legend and infamy began. A regretful sonata, broken regalia and the keepsake of a forgotten memory...”

Edmond, walking aimlessly without destination arrived at Ferelden with high hopes and just shy of his twentieth year of living, Edmond chance upon himself a job and as luck would have it he was out of money. Seeing that the job would pay well and even though he normally worked alone, Edmond grasped the opportunity in order to survive. The job entailed that he ended the lives of a clan in an encampment with several other assassins. They would strike when midnight approaches.

Edmond had stalked the tents of his targets earlier that eve and that was when his blood grew cold. He had thought he was to kill warriors and savages but instead found women and children, living happily and content. Edmond then remembered a lesson that one of his masters taught him: Do what heart tells you, for it is always right. And killing children was not his way. That night, several assassins had died silently, struck by a shadow in their backs. And so, the shadow continued in his travels.
