Likes: Buliwyf like any dwarf enjoys duels or provings. He appreciates loyalty above all else, and loves training his skills. He has longed to show his strength in battle, and while he is exiled from Orzammar he likes the idea of proving himself amongst the humans as a capable Grey Warden.
Dislikes: He dislikes losing his family, and being blamed for the death of his brother. While he was never greatly fond of his brother he also understood the pressures, and responsibility of being an Aeducan heir. He is neither fond of the extreme politics in the dwarven culture as he is a prime example of suffering a fate for a crime he did not commit.
Strengths: He has a burning desire to prove himself as another great Aeducan warrior, and not letting his exile stop him from that fate. His resolve is unbending, and his determination is matched by none. He has trained his entire life to be a great leader of soldiers, and has been considered as a battering ram on the battlefield. He is also known to be quite the diplomat, and has shown great diplomacy in the past settling disputes, and being seen as a positive light by people.
Weaknesses: He is often seen as too trusting, but he really believes in keeping his enemies close. He is debated he is a poor judge of character, but that is debateable. By human standards he is a drunk, and abuses ale which he does not view as anything more then as a quirk of his culture. He is very closed minded when it comes to religion believing in his own, but does well to keep his opinion to himself about it.

Character History:
Buliwyf is the middle child of three sons born of King Endrin Aeducan. Like his brothers he was educated in dwarven, and human history. When he was younger he spent most of his days at the Proving marvelling at the combat expertise of some of Orzammar's greatest soldiers. When he was not at The Proving he spent much of his time reading about all the great dwarves who have held the name Aeducan before him.
During his early childhood he didn't often get along with his older brother Trian as he was constantly busy preparing to one day hopefully become the king of Orzammar like his father. Buliwyf didn't have such responsibilities put on his shoulders, and was allowed a freedom that his older brother never shared, and resented. He spent his study hours in the Shaperate learning from the Shaper about dwarven history
When he reached his teen years he became fast friends with Gorim Saelac of the Warrior Caste. They became fast friends, and spent much of their time together. They shared a common joy of Proving's and one day gaining glory fighting Darkspawn in the Deep Roads. It was only natural that when they were allowed to join the army that Gorim was made as Buliwyf's right hand man.
After years of service Buliwyf was promoted to the role of Commander in Orzammar's army with Gorim being promoted as Buliwyf's general. It was a day of ceremony and celebration. Buliwyf engaged the combatants in The Proving which was held in his honor. He won the tournament, and sent the Proving Helm to Frandlin Ivo in hopes that he might gain another promising soldier for his commission.
Once in the Deep Roads his father sent him on a secret mission to retrieve a lost artifact of the Aeducan Thaig, the Shield of Aeducan. In the deep caverns of the Deep Roads Commander Aeducan, Gorim Saelac, and Frandlin Ivo fought through darkspawn, but upon finding the door leading to the Great Hall of Aeducan graveyard they found the door open. When they entered they were greeted by mercenaries in possession of Trian's signet ring. Suspicious of these events they dispatched the mercenaries, found the shield, but when they returned from where they had come they found Trian Aeducan's dead corpse on the ground with a company of his men. As Buliwyf knelt to check the body of his older brother Bhelen with their Father, and a company of men arrived.
Buliwyf betrayed by Frandlin Ivo led everyone to believe on Bhelen's behalf that Buliwyf turned on Trian, and killed him in cold blood. From this point he was set in jail, and was exiled from Orzammar. Pyral Harrowmont moved to have him tossed in the Deep Roads. Before he was thrown in the Deep Roads Buliwyf told Harrowmont that he did not murder his brother, and Bhelen was framing him. Trusting the boy he had never known to be this kind of person he gave Buliwyf armor and weapon so that he might meet his hand like a warrior. With information from Gorim, Buliwyf managed to make his way to the Grey Warden Duncan who was travelling to Ferelden through the Deep Roads. He was warmly welcomed into the Grey Wardens as one of few recruits with real experience fighting Darkspawn.
